A path well traveled....

Travel broadens the mind and feeds the soul.  Sometimes you don't even have to leave your own environment; you can find places you didn't even know existed in your own backyard, so to speak. I grew up in Boston.  I loved hopping on the subway, getting off at a station near Fanueil Hall, and walking all over the city, exploring.  So many different kinds of people, places, foods, and culture.  A mix of old and new.  It is a wonderful city to expand your mind and tastes. However, I was also interested in travel, of going to different places in the country and in the world.  My travel was limited when I was younger.  Family vacations didn't happen to often-I only remember going to Maine a couple of summers.  When I was in high school, I traveled to Quebec with the French Club of my high school.  That was quite an eye opener.  I remember being on a bus with a bunch of my friends and at one point, everyone on the bus was looking at us. ...
